Selling on gumtree

Put the Corsa on gumtree and I get a text saying someone rang me but couldn't get through and could I email them... Okay fair enough I have I check my email to and there's an email from gumtree saying the same bloke has requested to purchase my ad so I follow the link and it wants card details?

Legit or a scam? I ain't sold stuff on gumtree before!

Based purely on the Web address being sorely.pstgu.ru I'd say scam

I never had to give payment details to gumtree

Defo scam haha. When I was trying to sell my Corsa on gumtree, I had a guy living in Africa asking me to ship it and I guy who was in the army but can't collect cos he's on duty, both asking for bank details haha.

Ive had before dom wen i sold stuff on gumtree and never replied to em as i to guessed its scam mail like johnby says mate dont give bank details for any reason always say cash on collection on your ads

Yeah i didnt man, i then got another 3 emails from the same thing every hour haha definately a scam
