No keys options?
Ok so bar the obvious changing barrels and locks
What options are available, no suggestions will be too stupid so give me your ideas right or wrong

Depends how you want to go about it - the simplest way is to give the details to a main dealer and they'll be able to identify the original key code and supply keys from that. They may tell you they can't because of security issues, but it's do-able once they know you're legit. (Providing no-one has already changed the barrels of course!)
Or if you're not bothered about getting it back to keys again you can fit keyless entry to the doors & tailgate, or do it Mr Bean style and fit a padlock on a hasp and staple. The ignition / immobiliser is easy to sort, not that you'd want to publish how to do it on a public forum and I'm sure you don't need to be told anyway.

I'd like to get back to keys, bypassing immobiliser and Tring to hide kill switchs would always leave me nervous of someone figuring it out
Thought about main dealer but can't justify spending more on a key than I bought the car for
It's hot wired atm but for obvious reasons I don't want it to be [emoji38]
Anyone know whether a key pad from a vtr saxo could be fitted [emoji38]

OK, so if it's got be cheap that rules out using a main dealer.
As above - second hand barrels and keys, but you'll then need to bypass the immobiliser. There's plenty of ways to disable the car that work as well as an immobiliser, which aren't that hard to get round anyway.
You can programming blanks with opcom of course, but I'm guessing you don't have the code.

Seller found the key this evening and ran it down to me so all sorted
Why are the keypads bad though? Obviously in the older ones you can tell what numbers are used from wear but a new pad would surely be safe

Oh - finding the keys is an effective solution, but not as much fun.
I think the keypad thing is that when you combine the word "French" with the word "electronics" the general outcome is not the word "reliability".
