Hi guys, newbie here.....
OK, Stinky, my '96 plate 1.4 Corsa has decided to rotate it's drivers side door lock 90°so it'll lock with the key, but not open
Having to use the central locking from passenger side to get in whilst not a major pain, is somewhat annoying, and I've been told a possible MOT fail.
So, good people, how would I go about fixing this?
I have the Haynes book of lies, some spanners, and a very large hammer!
Cheers
Driver door lock.

Re: Driver door lock.
Spray some wd40 into the lock and try open it, it's more than likely just a stuck pin
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Driver door lock.
Did the car have dead locking. If so item 11, 12 and 17 are the culprits. 11 is usually at fault. About £5 from autovaux. Afraid it's strip the door down time.

WD40, and a gentle tap, and it's all working again.
