if ya got any coolant in there, you\'ll be able to tell where its leaking, it\'ll leave crystal deposits.

slight problems
Hmm when you open the water tank does it hiss even when cold?
is the water slightly browny?
Sounds rather like my head gasket towards the end, partically the on turn over, \"Oh it sounds like I have a little stream tickling under my bonnet\"

slight problems
my partner had a similar problem when he had his mondeo. he was topping the coolant up daily. we checked the head gasket that was fine, checked to see if he had a leak couldn\'t find one so we put some rad weld in anyway ( maybe try this first) rad weld temporary fills any small holes in your hoses if you have any , and we changed the heater matrix... maybe that\'s whats wrong, your heat matrix is bust... ( word of advice never changed the blasted thing your self it\'s right pain in the arse, in the modeo we had to take the whole of the dash and heater sound off to get to it, rather a big job)

take it back to the garage again si, they\'ll do a chemical test on the water and find out if the oils mixing with it.
