Anybody know any ways of disposing petrol, ideally safe and legal.
I have about 2-3 litres mixed with 2 stroke and don't really fancy putting it in my car.
Need the tank it's in to get petrol for my lawnmower today.
Disposing of petrol.

Good idea, il ask him. I might just take the mower in the car and fill it up directly. Or even top it up as its less than I thought, about 1.5L.coupe77 wrote:Take it you don't have a second container

Just use it in your car and dilute it with a tank full of neat petrol. 2 litres of 20:1 two stroke mix in what? a 50 litre full tank? You'll never notice it - unless it was Castrol R in which case your car exhaust will smell a whole lot better.

I sorted it. Gave it the Gardner a few doors down and he gave me some of his petrol. I was to stingy to buy a new can [emoji51]
