Hey folks,
Do you know that Subaru wrx sound? That lovely bop-bop-bop?
That's what my corsa does every few seconds when it's been standing for about 4 or more days and I don't like it coz I also feel a significant drop in power...
Last time it also died on me when I stopped at an intersection.
I re-started and continued driving. After a few more seconds (possibly warmed up) the engine ran fine and I had no more issues.
Anybody here with a clue as to what this could be?
Cheers and happy holidays,
Vincent.

Re: subaru sound
Check your spark plugs
Sounds like your getting oil on them from your stem seals Hence the miss fire once it's burnt off it will run fine
Or it could be head gasket

Re: subaru sound
I had the head gasket replaced a while ago, should be good but I'm not sure they did a great job...

Re: subaru sound
Seems I fixed it by replacing spark plugs and cables.
