Re: Dans vectra c
Another good day. Some guy tried squeezing through a gap clearly only big enough for one while I was already going through and knocked my wing mirror.

Happy days. Went to an old family friend of the Mrs who's partner is an MOT tester. As a late wedding present, they decided to sort the car out and MOT it [emoji3]

Some present mate as it's not a small job to replace the rear break lines and sort the emissions out

Re: Dans vectra c
Not been on here in ages. Still haven't got the pennies for anything decent for the car. Bought some vinyl wrap last week, originally to wrap the stereo. The first problem was I had no pins, nothing a wire hanger can't solve!
Then as I was attempting to take the fascia off, came across these tiny Torx screws I had nothing that would fit.
So just got bored and wrapped the steering control covers. Was a pain to put back in without taking the air bag off and may have woke a few neighbours the amount of times I accidentally knocked the horn. I'm quite happy with the result [emoji41]

Re: Dans vectra c
Think I let my car get to messy inside
Also had a problem I had a while back where the car thinks the boots open while driving and it sets my alarm off while driving. Iv done what the guy who sold it me did and adjusted the latch for the boot a bit lower and seems to have sorted it.
Also after some boot struts, surely scrapyard won't charge to much?

Someone off another forum sent me a link of the ones they got, £6 each which beats going scrapyard. Seem really easy to change for an amateur like me haha
