Corsa gear box 5th gear problems

My corsa c is 1.7cdti the gear box won't go into 5th gear after I've reversed but if I take the key out and turn the car off and on again it goes in to 5th fine?

What if you just go to neutral and re clutch?

It's not really an issue tbh it's probably just locked same way you can't go from 5th to reverse, why would you need to from reverse to 5th anyway?[emoji38]

I think he means if he's driving along as normal, then has to reverse for some reason, then carries on driving going 1>2>3>4 it then won't go into 5th. I may be wrong but that's how I read it.

These cars do suffer from worn gear linkage bushes
A new linkage is around £30
