I'd send them to a machine shop and get the lips polished, chrome paint is normally just silver
We got a local place to polish and lacquer wheels for a Honda 50[emoji38]looked far better than paint

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Yeah and the b and c pillar trims as well if there not black already but will look really neat inside mate, I would honestly look at getting some fabric off eBay i got 5 metres of suede to do my door cards for 25 quid delivered and you just aerosol adhesive it on them pillar trims will be super easy to do this way roof lining will take a bit of time but will look so much better than paint and it's not a massive cost to do it, you can get any type of fabric cheap of eBay mate

I just used a black sheet for my B's roof, worked perfectly, spray adhesive and stuck it over the original one, still stuck down everywhere
