As you can see in the video, my gear knob is fairly lose. It falls off regularly when we have hot weather, maybe the metal expanding? When we have really hot weather, I tend to get to my car and it already popped off! It's getting quite dangerous, falling off after changing gear, usually after reverse. So far iv only tried wedging it in with paper, no luck. I have some PTFE tape I may try tonight. Don't want anything to permanent in case I need it off. Any suggestions?

Re: Gear knob falling off
Would epoxy resin be too permanent?
Basic super glue would probably hold it and you could still remove it with a good twist.

PTFE tape actually worked. Put two wraps round and banged the knob back on. Made it to work in this boiling weather and it's not budged at all!
