Could this be my problem

Post by Breeze »

Well my EM light keeps coming on, and car drops revs, I release throttle and it goes again. I cant paperclip test my car, and I cant afford for vaux to do it :x

so.... im doing my own trouble shooting.

Ive checked all the plugs, cleaned air filter, cleaned ICV, reset ECU.

any other ideas.

Oh yer, and I totally ran out of petrol on the m62 the other week  could that have blocked my fuel filter? could this be whats causing the trouble?

If so, how do I remove it? Do i Clean it or replace it? How much from vaux if so.

Cheers

yeah use BP or shell, and stick to it, u dont need to go all out and use super, but you\'ll see the difference after a few tanks
ive heard tesco just buy it from where ever, and it may well be water
optimax from shell is awesome, best u can get

same here simong, doesn;t really make a difference does it. i sometimes go to tesco\'s, morrisons or wherever im nr.

breeze not sure if i had a problem like that when i first got my corsa, mine didn;t pull very well when going up hil\'s, turned out to be the pully slipping from the cog or something like that. but that might not be the same thing.
