On going problem !!
right i dont exactly know how to describe this problem but ill give it a go ive had my corsa for bout 9 months now, my second one though as last summer my other one got wrote off and i wasnt even in it lol! Anyway up untill a while back it was running smooth and no such problems, then all of a sudden, the revs were dropping way too low, at times just conking out when i first turned the car on in the morning, its never steady, its always pondering up and down and for example if im going along at a steady speed, come to a harshish stop, dip clutch in as u do, the car would just stall on me and make me look abit silly, aswell as this the other problem is going along at a certain speed and its as if there is something stuck as the car acceleration stops, then goes again, stops, then goes again, as if its misfiring or something and i could be going along in third trying to build up some speed, it wud just seem as if the car is not responding to my foot on the accelerator, seems to be delayed I\'ve had it put on a diagnostic machine etc and they managed to clear a few errors which they found, i even went out and brought a new idle speed thing, but the problem is still there! I\'m reluctant to stick it into Vauxhall as tbh, they are useless lol, and when you do stick it in, they seem to come back with X amount of problems therefore raising the cost too high! Also reluctant as my mum stuck here Astra in there the other day as it kept cutting out, they come back saying its fixed, well infact it wasnt, as it cut out again, all in all its been back to them 3 times and so far is running normal again !! Hope someone can help with my problem

I have this exact same problem wit the revs...
I did sum carb cleaner up the induction tube ...
Or it could be your idle control valve

i had the same problem at the moment with mine, i have had it on the diagnostics machine and it showed errors with the idle speed. i tried carb cleaner but in the end changed the idle control valve, everything is sorted now.
induction kits are often the cause i\'ve been told
