Post by Jules »

Hi fella\'s and fellesses!

Thought I\'d sign up as I\'m looking to chop my Nova GSi in and go for a Corsa GSi for a bit (probably until I can get my AstraG SRi Turbo that I want! :P )

So I thought I\'d stick a post up to say hello, so \"hello\"
:D

Jules

P.S
Oh and check my sig!

Yep, this one taken from PVS last year.

Wheels, suspension and brakes will probably be coming off the Nova and going on to the Corsa when I get one.

How much can I lower a Corsa GSi on 16\"s before I start to have to make arch mods?

60mm looks good on 16s imo mate, i think youll just get away without it scrapping. i think im going 60mm down on my 1.2 with the gsi rims, not doing much to it though. as i want a newer car, so just going for, lowering, lights, few subtle mods and thats it, might get rims aswell if i find something cheapy.

Yeah I know the MJS guys, Squint who works there has produces some awesome motors, RS turbo powered rear engined Pug 106, rear engined RS Escort and a twin engined escort pickup to name but three!

both the pug and the green pickup were sprayed same place im getting mine done. that pick up, was made using the parts from the blue escort (which he wrote off)

Hi treacle, I\'m also loving the idea of the Corsa GSI, I can picture it in my head and it\'s looking awesome!
What I\'m not loving though is a (common!) Astra GSi - I\'m after the only_500_made rare Astra SRi Turbo and not the common as muck MK3 neither! :P :D

My brother has a rare S reg GSi (They made about 400 last of the line late model MK3 GSi\'s but most were R reg - infact his is the only S reg GSi I\'ve seen) in metallic black and it looks awesome - totally standard apart from a Magnex backbox and smoked side repeators - he keeps saying he\'ll sell it but never does, if he ever does I\'ll let you know

Good luck Mr Sumner

Remember the Corsa doesn\'t handle as well as the Nova... so a set of Billies should be top on your list - or the FK group buy ;)
No more Corsa :(
