what size induction kit/hose for 1.2 8v

Post by toneee »

Just wondering if anyone knows what diameter the air hose is on the 1.2 8v motor. thinking of getting a chromed pipe and a quickshift universal cone, to replace the airbox, just wondering what size pipe and cone i need.
cheers

you would be better off just getting a panel filter.

well that was an option, gettin a panel filter and drilling the airbox, not really interested in performance gains as i know im not going to get it from my 1.2 8v lol. would i get a decent sound from a DNX panel filter and drilled box? and if not drilling it, i was going to put a pipercross air hose straight into the airbox, fed from the grille in the bottom of the front bumper

I was gonn go with a hetshield and feed the induciton cone with cold air with an airfeed coming from the bumper, at the end of the day ive come to the decision, that a drileld box and panel filter will do pretty much the same and cost less, so ill probably be going with that.
