oil gone

does any 1 know if the 16v engine uses oil coz mines all gone its bone dry so ive gota fill it up 2moro.wot is the best oil to put in it?is there any stuff that is made especialy 4 eco-tecs?thanx

just done a full oil change on my 1.4 ecotec vx do a 10w40 semi syn for the ecotec Â£9 quid something for 5 liters

if you are missing alot of oil this could be a problem, all engines use oil matey, but older engines are more likely to burn oil then newer ones.
could be a headgasket, could be that you havent checked oil in a long time, maybe something as simple as an oil leak, hope it works out ok
