No, it\'s not. Even if it was either of those two you\'ve mentioned, it wouldn\'t matter... I wouldn\'t see it from where I\'m sitting

None of the above I\'ve no need for self-congratulation over my Corsa. It\'s modified to my taste, other people\'s opinions don\'t matter to me so I don\'t entertain them.
I\'ve never knowingly commented on people having a 5-door Corsa - a lot of people own them because of circumstances, which isn\'t my place to judge.
If you stick a neon kit on the car, I\'ll happily let my thoughts be known as there really isn\'t any excuse for making your car look like a space ship. Yes you also may not want to know my opinion, but then if that\'s the case, don\'t post photos of your car.

My term of differences in this instance was power gain
I would hardly say a K&N gives u 20 extra horses, your lucky if u get one or two from this after market kit
However, if u got the money to spend a few hundred on one, u mite notice a bit more improvement

The open cone kits rarely give more than a 1-2hp gain, mainly because of how the gain is measured at a rolling road.
Sealed units give better results but again, on the road as a rolling road struggles to simulate the high/low pressure areas you get when the car is moving.
At the end of the day, rolling road figures are all bullshit - the only true dyno test is your arse in the seat as you drive.

Yup, they\'ll still benefit from an increased volume of air.
I\'d go for an open cone on these.

Yes, Patrick only pays £5 for each one. They\'re just universal rubber neck cones.

Everyone moans about \"hot air\" and \"flat spots\" - in reality, probably only two people actually experienced anything like this and they were driving in South Africa and had the same problems with the standard airbox anyway. The rest just cut and paste... [/quote]
Just wondering what are flat spots?!:?
Because i don\'t think i\'ve ever experienced it and i\'ve got a cheap £20 air cone filter too lol and seems to run better to me
