Nah a painted them myself when I bought them. Came out really well with a few coats of laquer and a good t-cut.....

Its 60mm nova springs with a coil off at the front to get it to sit better....

Lol. Got it one!!! The front springs were huge so I was able to take a coil off them and there still tight when the cars jacked up so there perfectly safe and an mot pass.
Would never cut springs if a thought it was going to be dangerous....

yeah i know what you mean, ive hacked loads of springs.... never my own tho :? wouldnt take off anymore than a coil thoand i tend to cut the end flat and round it so it doesnt dig into the base plate, if they are loose you can drill them and use wire to hold them in place then they pass MOT strange that, imo if the springs were loose i wouldnt pass it :lol:

You can have the whole front end in the air and the springs still sit solid....
Nothin dangerous about it as long as there tight..... :clap:

yeah i agree mate, the only time its dangerous is when people cut them in half :lol:

Yeh a think the same. There getting reconditioned anthracite at end of august, saving for hol just now.... Arrgghhh...
