Dodgy radio

Iv had my radio for about 3 years and iv never any trouble untill recently when i \'think\' i had my alarm fitted. The problem is it keeps knocking on and off then it will just stay off. I only bought a new battery 6 months ago so thats alright iv taken my radio disconnecte it checked the wiring and it was fine. So i tried a different radio to see if it was my radio or something with my car but it did exactly the same. So im a bit stuck on what to do next i thought id see if anyone could help me in here first because i dont really want to take it somewhere where they will charge me a arm and a leg.
