i posted about this on another site, good idea behind it, just means more hassle for us and alot of the time a waste of police resources

and as for declaring things my company just said the price of your car and its accessories, didnt ask anything else

warning ignorance is no defence!

sorry thats not meant personal thats what you will be told in a court

they cant trace your insurance company without you giving details

you will find that \"V O S A\" are doing road side checks along with the police (basically mot testers working for the government)

and how sad this country is becoming to motorists in general not just modded n young drivers

Just remember guys the police do read thru the forums for those of you admitting your mods are undeclared.

As for being pulled over, I get it all the time the soon as I leave London.

But I\'m all legitimate so I dont tend to worry. And on my insurance certificate there is a list of modifications that I have declared.

I\'ve been driving a standard sport for last few weeks while i had a new one in the bodyshop getting done up. Got my renewal through a few days ago, was gonna cost me £400 to renew the standard one. I called them up & asked for a quote on the new one with mods declared, cost me £500. Hardly seems worth not doing it for £100!!
