Lesson: Never park ANYWHERE near a lorry :(

Today i went to pick something up for my mother, pulled up to the place and their was a lorry blocking the entrance, so i parked behind it (but obviausly a fair distance away so he could see me when reversing etc) went into the plaice picked the things up for my mam, come out and the lorry is doing a sort of three point turn, so i walk towards the car looking at it and i notice something white on my front bumper, as i got closer i noticed the lorry had backed into my front end and he was about to drive off, so i ran infront of the lorry waving my hands around like a loonatic and finally gets his attention, he gets out of the car and looks at me asif im stupid, he was only friggin polish and didnt understand a word i was saying , so i went into the place where he was delivering and told them, they got in contact with his firm and the translated somethings too us, but we still couldnt get no details off him  , so i foned the police and they came pretty fast (unusual) they got through to him and got some details off me and basically sorted things, i have some photos of the damage but it doesn\'t look too bad until you see it in real life soo here they are ..........

That is just half of the story lol....finally i get home and get on the phone to my insurance (liverpool & Victoria) and they start saying that they cant fix it because i have a bodykit on it? WICH IS DECLAIRED, like everything else on the car, so finally we got it through to them about that and they said they shouldnt of insured me with a bodykit on my car etc.....and they wont be insuring me when my policy runs out in November but they will sort it as i was told my car was insured. Then they say they cant get me a curtasy car because im not over the age of 21 ?? HOW PERTHETIC IS THAT, so i had a go about that and they said they will get me a hire car as the person on the phone who sold me my insurance completely filled my head with crap........sorry about the mahoooosive post boys and gals im just really upset about it.

Oh and forgot to mention the driver of the lorry said it was my fault?
also a mechanic i know recon the damage is going to be around £1600 repaired so wil the insurance pay out or wil the write my car off?

SO DONT PARK BEHIND LORRIES !! lol
Rant over !!!

alot of the times insurance companies can be funny and just pay you the value of your car (standard price) or claim being put forward which ever is cheapest...

but doesnt look like £1600 damage...dats a con when i had my accident i paid £400 for new bumper and straightend the front end of the car....

new bonnet, new bumper and abit of labour shudnt cum over £800

ah well just what a mechanic told me, hes probs just over priced it :) ......The person on who sold me my insurance said they deal with modified cars, so basically they had to cover the kit as they had a voice recording of the phone call. now its just a waiting game i suppose. What are Adrian flux like mate are they pretty cheap ? Ive heard it mentioned a few times....but never got a quote from them

:o i park behind/next to lorrys every night of the week or they park next to me.
i\'ve hurd good things about adrian flux if i remember correctly they were set up especially for mod\'d and custom cars. i\'m going to be giving them a ring when my curreny policy runs out as i dont think tescos will be too freindly when it comes to insuring a 1.6 with a shed load of engine mods

adrian flux allows you to modify your car as much as you want without any limits...as long as you dont touch the engine....

Adrian flux are stupidly cheap, i was with norwich union who were charging 490 for a 1.2 with alloys declared, then moved to adrian flux and am paying 450 for everything declared including a 1.6 engine transplant, alloys, suspension, bodykit etc etc.
