Fitted the new GSi interior today.. with some help from my mates Steve and Winston

Broster was spotted at McD\'s by the girls when we sent them out to get some grub for us hungry (working hard!) blokes! Also think we spotted you at 6pm speeding round the hospital roundabout as we were pulling out of our estate?

Before....

Make sure you get 3\" webbign harness\'s if you can, the difference in comfort is amasing.
As for seats, what ever your budget allows, but side mounts are lighter and can be mounted in a more benificial manner, I\'ll get some shots of the nova\'s new bits today.

Oh yes.. Petro.Tank, Full exhaust system up to Manifold. Alloys, Glove box (well it did have a Pioneer 6cd changer in it!), Stereo etc etc.

All the new parts I have are getting fitted for free in August at a mates garage and all the parts have cost me...... 1 Dell Optiplex GX240 desktop PC (that I had lying around spare) Those parts have come off another White Sri and Broster should see some of them tonight at the garage when he gets his MOT done!

Fitted the doors and wings today and also finished the interior off. Didn\'t realise how easy wings and doors were to do!

Got to clean them all up tomorrow (Autoglym Paint Renovated the wings.. just got doors to do now!)

Got bored today with nothing to do so decided to strip dash down and do some sanding, priming and some laquering of some parts! As you can see from the photo\'s below, half the dash is now sprayed in \'Platinum\' colour!

Didn\'t get the chance to fit back on the speedo housing cover so thats a job for next weekend!

I collect the new Gsi clocks tonight and then its just a waiting game to get it into the garage next week for the mechanical work.... I just can\'t wait now to get behind the wheel of it again!

Once its running its going to be \'mopped\' all over and hopefully most of the marks will come out of the paintwork. I have managed to remove most of the stuff left on the new doors from the bump strip removal.

It might need a quick \'touch up\' respray at some point but if that is the case then I may as well go the whole hog and have it resprayed all over. Like the \'white/blue\' pearl effect.

Fitted the new clocks today!

Had a result. Local scrappy (went to get glove box and ignition surround plastics) had just taken delivery of a smashed GSi... inside it were a set of \'white\' clocks! I did have a set of standard Gsi clocks from a member on CorsaSport that had 40k on the clock, but these ones from the scrappy had 90k on and when my car was nicked it was showing 84k.

Here is the result.
