BP have made the list!

Post by broster »

Just put 43L of ultimate in my car, costing a grand total of £41.94, went to start my car and it started went to move from the pump and, alas its broken! soon after another person had the same problem at the same pump!

Went it to sugest that the fuel is dodgy, firstly they communicated well, saying I had tampered with the fuel and such like, then they started to loose their ability to communicate just saying in broken english i had done it! they then shut off all the ulitmate pumps I revert to calling police to try and prove it wasnt me that broke it, eventually they admit i didnt tamper with the pumps, still with a car broken down.... later on they admit that there is alot of water contamination in their tanks, AA come and take me home..... the AA man gave me horror stories of what water will do.... nice!

So end of the day I\'m left with a car full of some kind of water petrol thing that wont fire up..... unkown costs as yet to fix it!

been advised by family member who works in law to keep copies of all recipt and then claim back all my losses including loss of earnings as BP have insurance to cover it but it will take time to get costs back!

f**k HATE BP!

I\'ll repair it, not too hard, just undo the fuel rail on the pump feed side, and short circuit the fuel pump relay and empty ther tank in to some 25L jerry cans, do fuel line back up and fill with petrol, run th epump again for a few mines to mix the fuel up and start up.

Or to you and me abotu £200-300

Wouldn\'t it be a terrible thing if JamSport\'s hourly rate went up a few quid... would help to pay for any toys come rebuild time :)

Mark. Just read your thread on this on MKCruise. Not good. Hope it does get sorted. Hopefully Jamsport will sort it all out for you. Fingers Crossed there is no lasting damage!
