HELP

Post by phillygee »

hiya rich
I need exactly the same last week, took the door handles off, the center dash panel, the dial hood, the cow lip around the steering wheel, the air vents on both the passenger and drivers side, plus the cover things that go on between door and the air vents.
I cleaned them, then sprayed them with plastic primer, allowed them to dry, spayed them with paint (the same color as the car), allowed them to dry then gave them a few coats of lacquer.

Leave them for a day before you put them back on though.

Mine look well mint, mite try and get some pictures on here soon

no probs mate

NO DO NOT SAND
I have the corsa modding manual and that says sand them down, so thats what i did for the hood of the dials.....
The final effect was no where bear as good as the components that i did not sand!!!
If you leave them un-sanded the color is different but the surface looks the same texture as the remaining components and looks alot better
