is it possible to make your own de cat pipe?

yes. I did mine, all you need is a piece of pipe and a vice.

Measure how long you need the pipe, cut it to size and then work out the angles and bend it into shape, shouldn\'t need that much strenght to bend it. Then just put some filler around the ends (so it doesn\'t blow) and then put some clamps around it and your done.

It took me about an hour n half to get mine perfect.

cheers mate, whats the penaltys is you get caught? i know you need to swap it for mot, but if the police catch you can you get done?

the only way they will know is if they check and i havn\'t known a copper to check yet, but if they do they will make you take it off and have another MOT done and produce that you have done it.

Once you have the pipe doneit is really easy to change it back and forth as you like as it is already done for you.

no worries about changing it back, that should be easy, just fitted a cat back exhaust, and want a bit more of a roar,MOT can get the gfs dad to do it, he works in a garage and does mots lol

same here, well he sell\'s cars from a garage but he knows all the guys and they past it with the cat on (JUST)!!!
