Thanks very much for the info.

Have you any details of what extras were fitted to the different models regarding PAS, central locking, electric windows, revcounters, sunroof etc? It\'s just that most of the Corsas I see for sale are merits or envoys and I assume that they are at the \'economy\' end of the range. :?

Cheers,

Spud.

From what i can tell the Sports models had leccy windows, LS and Special Editions, such as the trip, Vegas, twist, and arizona have Central locking, The airzona Had sun roof, tho that could have been optional.

Merits and enovys are indeed bottom range economy, you want to stay clear of those as they come with just enough to make the car driveable ;). Anything is better than a Merit of the envoy for extras. From 1997 or 1998 on i think the corsa\'s began to get PAS, but i coul be wrong then. GLS, SPORT, CDX models had sun roofs from 1997 (R reg)

Rev counters will be found in the Sport / SRI models.

This is all based on experience with nearly everyone I know owning corsa\'s and checking a good few out for buying them :) so corrections welcome

Both my P reg sports had a sunroof, they were both pre face lift too so that must have been added when they first changed the name from SRi to sport?

Before them i had a 1.2 8v LS. Only difference between that & my friends 1.2 8v merit was mine had elec mirrors & 5 speed gearbox as far as i remember.
