engine management light
engine management light comes on when i am on the motor way during 65 to 70mph any one know what it could be or how i can get it sorted?

mine came on bofore,found the problem,it was a split in the temp sensor wire,jus look round the engine,n look for any wire n check for a split or break

does the car stop reving and just stay at 65-70???
if so lambor senser has gone like on mine , it wnt rev above 4000 rpm !! the ecu puts car in 2 get u home mode !! plus £182.95 2 get it replaced!!

engine management light
cr41g, that sounds exactly like the problem i am having at the moment! what is the lambor sensor and what is its function? my car constantly limits 1/2000 rpm short of its usual limit and wont let me go any faster. applies to all gears and the problem is inconsistant (doesnt happen 100% of the time, about 80)

182quid for a lambda sensor, where u get that from? Harods, lol. just do the paper clip test as that will tell you any fault codes the ecu has stored. tech 2 is all well and good if you don\'t mind paying 70quid each time.
