Want a quick 8v?
Please note this is not a company I know or work for
most of you seem to go for twinks so found out about this person / company from a mag as rules i run my car in wont allow major mods so i\'m searching for an engine builder to \"blue print\" an 8v for me
Not a Magazine I guess you would buy but there is an artical in Retro cars with a full write up on the 8v engines covering 1.2-2.0 which includes a bit about heads that have the bigger valves heads with best ports
the info comes from an engine builder in manchester who gets 200bhp out of the 2.0 and 150 bhp out of a 1.4 8v! he builds race motors mainly for grasstrack specials using the vauxhall 8v engines but will sell parts that have been made for him for road cars
\"hiswords in conclusion\" knocking on the door of the xe, and lighter ignore the 8v at your peril !

the 150BHP 1.4 is doable, but you\'ll only have power between 7 and 8.5k and will have a life of 100miles (ish) and cost about the same as it\'s revlimit. Still an awesome engine

I mean 1000 bad typo.
I can recommned another place to get the head flowed for a much more reasonable price,
Want my 1400 to be knocking on the door of 150 before I swap it, but I have a slight advantage over a 8v motor
