hi guys
just a quickie. my fuel guage stopped working a while ago, now i am tired of running out of petrol. i open up the fuel tank and took a look inside. after some discovering i found that the little float device (sender unit) has become a little bit heavier than the liquid inside the tank. is there anyway to replace the , now heavy, black float. or would it be advisable to go out and purchase a new one.

check the actual guage 1st.. happend to me and thats what it would prob be.. just get one out a scrappy and swap it over.. if that dont work then get a auto spark to look for a dodgy conection from the sender unit.
if it still not working the replace sender.. DONT get second hand unit tho.. ONLY buy a new one. its piss easy to replace too.
