I\'m not really sure if its changed but the rules used to be
no white light showing rearwards (except gearbox switched reverse lights)
no red light showing farwards

the question I have to ask is why do you have your footwells glowing blue when your driving. what purpose does this actually serve

I think they are illegal to have on when divin. Ive put a hidden switch in the glovebox for mine just to be safe incase i get pulled over.

this BTW is nothing new (except neons are used now) when i was young many many years ago we used to jack the sus up at the back (dragster style with 13\" wheels still ) of our mk1escorts, cortinas, capris, etc and fit fog lights above axle and front inner wings result> red glow under the car

My footwell neons are red and dont light up the the whole car so no, unless ur drivin by a cop in a 4x4 they aint gonna see the glow under the dash. If i had my red interior light on then they\'d see me comin.

im thinking its not illigal, only way it could be is if it proved a distraction while driving, it all depends on who pull you over. i doubt very much you\'d get a fine or points, they\'d probs just advise you as its probs a bit of a \'grey area\'

Why even bother hiding the switch? you\'re not going to get a Police Officer jumping into your car pressing all your buttons on your dash.

Maybe you all need to go on a Pass Plus driver training course. I can\'t believe you\'ve passed your license when you don\'t even know where the pedals are!!
