Hopefully posted under the right section, sorry if i aint.
Anyway need some help/advice. Just bought 1000w 6x9\'s (500w in each) and also a 1200 w sub. heard at some point best thing to do is to connect up through a 4 way amp?? with a power cap.
Anyone able to help me out here? not sure whats best

Yeah thanks mate, so you reckon best would be to have a single amp for the sub, and a 2 way for the 6x9\'s?

What\'s your headunit like?
If bass is your thing, do like simong\'s suggested and get a mono-block digital amp purely for the sub and just power the rest of the speakers from the head unit.
Personally, I wouldn\'t bother with 6x9s - they\'re great for noise but not much else. If you want to upgrade any of the speakers, do the fronts in the doors. 6inch components with tweeters replacing your factory tweeter positions.
