quick question

just got in from work and as i came down the drive went to pull the handbrake up there was a loud bang and handbrake shot right up checked the back wheels and they r still lockin up when the handbrake is on but the handbrake is well loose anybody know wat ive done?

i did this on a nova i had..... the cable runs in a track that goes over exhaust check that... you could have also either stretch the cable or nakard the tensioner... if the cable is well loose u may have broken the leaver!!!!

(if at the back both ends are connected to wheels still and u can lock em up still the its prob tensioner thing that sits on back axel!)

my mate done that in his nova in the middle of our town centre. one of the cables snapped with a massive bang! made a few people jump who were walking past us

i was laughing my ass off. my mate wasn\'t too happy though!
