A question on PSG Bodykits

Post by JonnyJ »

Hey guys i wondered if you could help me with a few things.

I recently made an inquiry about fitting a PSG wide arch kit to my corsa to a bodyshop and they said that they would be willing to fit it but that they are not very good quality and you cant get a good finish on the fibreglass plus they are a bugger to fit.

I wondered if any of you have had one fitted and if you are happy with the results or not

Cheers JJ

the worst thing about them is that you have to cut the standard vauxhall arches back to run with the curve of the new wide arches. The paint finish on them is as good as it would be on a car.

Cheers in advance

all kits need shaving and bending etc, from what my bodyshop has said the PSG kits are quite good, but then it depends on how many times the moulds are used really. so each bodyshop would have a different view on the kits, luck of the draw it seems

Fitted it myself. Although I know of a good cheap bodyshop in Hull.

Just been quoted by one bodyshop for £2416.00 to supply, prep, fit and paint the kit (this is with the spolier but not the bonnet)

Anyone know if this is competitive?

Go direct to PSG. Don\'t order from any other dealer unless PSG have confirmed they\'re selling PSG kits.

There\'s a lot of companies selling ripped off copies which use molds taken from bumpers and the quality is terrible.

With fibreglass you should expect to have to trim to fit.
No more Corsa :(
