*updated*

yeah you just put a switch in parallel with the cooling fan switch, looks something like this, if you have a haynes manual go to section 3*2 and theres a photo at the bottom that will make my drawing easier to understand

I\'d recommend using a relay for the circuit, if you go to the scrappy and cut of a purple one from a corsa loom for the fuel pump, Then you wire it up like that, the fan draws lots of current and the switched that takle that are about £7 each rather than £1.
You put the thick relay wires on the diagram above, and the thin brown to ground, then run the black in to the car, and attach it to one side of the swtich, then run a feed from the back of the fuel box to the other terminal of the switch, (a black one) so you can\'t leave the fan runnign all night and kill the battery.

why do you want/need to do it though?? If the fan\'s not kickign in low enough, then buy a new switch, they aren\'t expensive and much less hassle.

Are you switching it due to problems with the switch on the fan itself?

I have a problem with the one on my Corsa B. Its the switch at the bottom right of the rad that is fubared. I needed a size 30+ spanner to try and swap the switch (have a spare one) but the broken one will not budge from my Rad. Even when the car is up on a ramp at a garage the mechanics could not budge it.

I have put my switch near the lighting controls for the car. At first though, before the switch was installed I had a paperclip stuck into the connection by the radiator and the fan was on permanenlty everytime i started the car!

to get it out you need to remove the fornt bumper to get good access to it, then abuse it out.
