ive just put a valver into my corsa last week the engine was rebuilt before it was put in but feels really down on power anybody got any ideas thanks in advance.... :thumbs:

Have you checked the camblet timing, this makes them run off power, make sure you take off the alt belt pulle so you can see the actual cam pulley markings, the alt pulley bit is noturious for slipping and being out.

Get it on a rolling road to at least get an idea of the power figures.

How does the car feel to drive? Sluggish? Holding back? Plenty of revs, but you just don\'t go anywhere?

its up the revs all the way 2 the limiter but seems 2 be down on power i mean maybe i was exspectin 2 mutch but it does seem slower than it should b.... cheers 4 the help...

When you say it\'s slower than it should be, how are you measuring it?

If it\'s just a \"feeling\" then you\'re going to be a while trying to work out what\'s up with the car.
You\'re going to need to give us more information if you want to diagnose it.

well usealy they will pull then cum on cam around 4300rpm mine just doesnt seem 2 b comin on cam at all...

ive changed the ecu and it seems a bit better im goin 2 also change the box it was meant 2 b a f16 close but its not so goin 4 a f20 see if that im proves it...can u belive it its 6:25 in the the mornin and i just got a warning off the coppers 4 lightin the wheels up 1st 2nd up the road lol ...sorry officer...

Is the ECU bringing up a fault code?

Have you checked the cam timing?? If it\'s not coming \"on cam\" sounds like timing.

It shouldnt mind what gearbox is attached really.

Like J1400 has said this points to cam timing.

ive had a look at the timeing it looks like it may be a tooth out do u reckon that would do anything...
