timing belt
does anyone know how much a timing belt costs? (1.4 8v engine) also are they hard to change as mines a little overdue for it changing

take it to a garage to get it done its not really hard just a bit fiddly on corsas and you can only really get to them from underneath the engine bay also once the belt has been fitted it will need to be checked for the timing not an easy job for novices or even some talented novices.

garage will probs charge you about £70 inc the belt & bits

it would cost about £20 for the timing belt and aint that hard to fit just check ur tensioner they are bad for releasing the adjustment
