Right my bro has a c20xe in his corsa.
It has viper air induction kit, cams, pullies, boost valve, monitrionc chip, full system, 4-2-1 manafold and de-cat.
Its done 75k and the engine is in great nick, doesn\'t smoke at all.
Just wondering what bhp, roughly, should he be expecting when he has it RR\'ed next week. He his also having it setup when he has it rollered.

All depends on the rolling road. The figures are usually just plucked out of the air but expect around 160-170.
No more Corsa :(

We\'ve all got an \"idea\" of what you can typically expect to gain from each part, but together they don\'t have a cumulative power figure.

Calvin - it was rollered at a decent place, very popular, there was cossies, tvr\'s there etc, so it is spot on!
That corsa on tb\'s runnin 181bhp must be fcuked!

Ollie\'s Nova is nowhere near the fastest XE on Mig - there\'s a couple (non-turbo) that are over 200bhp.
Most people would tend to think of 181 bhp with throttle bodies to be a realistic rolling road figure and it can\'t in any way be compared to any other car run on different rollers on a different day.
Rolling road figures are completely bullshit and only serve as a way of measuring power if the same rollers are used and the operator is doing his job.
