1.0 12v mite say 54bhp it on the book,but try up against an 1.2 8 valve and ull b surprised, not slaggin but its truth ive done it. lookin a SRi 8 valve engine to modify.

i agree! my m8 had a 1.0 12v and it was slower than my 1.2 8v!

i agree! my m8 had a 1.0 12v and it was slower than my 1.2 8v![/quote]

Well at 100mph the 1.0 12v sounds like half a V6

Pretty sure 1.2 8v corsa are the slowest in the range as friend of mine has one & gets beaten by grannys on mobility scooters

Mine will be up for grabs in 6 months if you want to wait. It\'s only done 70,000miles.

Well if thats the case his 8 valve belongs in the breakers yard.
