Best thing to do is buy one that\'s already in a Corsa... with all the conversion kit and all the wiring already done...

Funnily enough I have such an item for sale! :)

Of course.

Speaking of which, have you seen those chrome 17s I\'m selling? They\'ll fit straight onto a Corsa and are pretty much the perfect offset!

I like the sound of doing it that way but id like the car to be standard when i get it that way the rest of the styling is my taste etc. What engine is in yours then Joff? Is the overall consensus that its better/easier to buy one with engine conversion done? Im stuck down in Cornwall tho!

I prefer the subtle look too, but having C3 sitting outside the window all day really does tempt me into having those wheels. Even though they are chrome, they\'re a great style and don\'t try too hard unlike a lot of other wheels.

Mine\'s a C20XE. It\'s definately easier to buy a converted Corsa already done, you\'d hope it would have all the niggling problems sorted out.
I\'ve actually got a complete Corsa with an XE engine in for sale - see the Classifieds forum. You can have the engine dropped out with all the rewiring done for you, ready for an easy fit into yours.
Should be just a bolt-on conversion!

You could get your car to the engine I\'m selling, convert it all and drive back the same day!*

*this would involve the use of an engine crane, some spanners and someone that has a slight clue as to what they\'re doing...
