A few quick questions

Post by spud »

Hi All,

I\'m still considering buying a Corsa and am still undecided whether to go for a 1.2 16V (probably S/T reg) or a 1.7 diesel of similar age. I just wanted to know, at what mileage should the cambelt be changed on both engines and also is power steering a must, especially with the diesel option?
Finally, do the red ones suffer from colour fade? It\'s just that I\'ve seen one for sale with the bonnet and filler cap a slightly paler shade of red compared to the rest of the car :o

Cheers in advance,
Spud

Can I assume then that all 16V engines have a chain driven camshaft?

And how does this electric power steering work? I\'ve never heard of this set-up before
I haven\'t got round to getting a haynes comic yet
Cheers,
