The best place to start would be to get the car on Tech 2 diagnostics at a Vauxhall dealership or get a mobile mechanic with the diagnostic software out.
There\'s so many sensors along the way that could be causing problems, ICV, AFM, Knock sensor, CTS, etc and it might not even be any of them!

No more Corsa :(

The V6 is a great engine just make sure it\'s got a lightened fly wheel, this will make the most of the engines power.

C25XE (V6) 167bhp
C20XE (Red-Top) 150bhp
Remember the V6 pushes out a lot more torque, but the red-top is lighter.
As for retail value there aren\'t many V6\'s Corsa\'s for sale so the price varies dramatically on the quality of the engine transplant.

got the corsa, the motor fires up first time and ticks over ok, a bit lumpy tho? ECU light is on all the time then sometimes flickers off for 20 ODD seconds then comes back on the car revs up fine, but sometimes back fires through air box ? sometimes on tick over the motor hunts alot and sometimes sucks air more?
any ideas ppl ?
oh ABS light is on 2.

The ABS light will be a wheel sensor.
Change the coolant temp sensor, this is located near the underside of the inlet manifold. Do the paper clip test on your ECU to find out what the fault is. try www.topbuzz.co.uk for more info.

The Coolant Temp Sensor (CTS) is the ECU\'s way of knowing how hot the engine is.
