Window Tinting

How much would a window tint cost roughly? i just want the boot window and rear windows done, nothing fancy.

Professionally done it cost me Â£200 for all the windows and was a spot on job!! although the front windows have been removed and sold since

Look in my album at pics of mine. You see them for sale second hand now and again.. but the problem is you need to buy the whole boot!! The only other option is tint them yourself!! But that looks really tacky!

cheers for that, i live near Edge Performance in Ash, i\'ll go see how much they\'ll do it for, a mate of mine had done it themselves, and it looked shockingly awful, really tacky, but then his car burnt down

Yeah.. when ya do it yourself you get bubbles and the edge wont sit flat! Tried it before on a mates car as it didnt look too hard. But ripped em back out the next day lol! I know a couple companies around here... but im in chester!! So abit out of your way

For just rear windows and the boot window id guestimate around Â£100-Â£120 mark. Thats normaly what people charge in the area i live in.

rear windows (i.e. ones behind driver) can have any tint (you could stick binbags over if you so wish to do so) anything infront of the B pillar (i.e.drives side winow/passeneger side window/windscreen) you cant have any tint, unless factory fitted.

Dont quote me on that, but i know of plenty of my mates that have had to have there front tints ripped out that they had done and were told were legal at the time they had them done. So thus the law must of changed recently, or they have been lied to
