Hi all,
Have been given the task of getting more power out of an early 1.2 with the alloy rocker cover.
Thinking about an engine swap and am wondering if anyone could advise a straight forward swap. And is there any cost effective way of putting bigger breaks on it.
Cheers

1.6 16v or 2.0l 16v not realy straight forward but can be done in with in a week. break wise 2.0l 16v 1s from astra or cavs. or v6 think joff got some for sale.

Thanks Sach.
Are the breaks just a straight swap caliper and carrier from the Astra or cav? is there any specific age or type of break I\'d be after? would there be a 8v engine that would go in easier?

Got some discs for sale, but not the calipers I\'m afraid.
2.0 16v Astra/Cavalier/Calibra \"ATE\" calipers are a direct swap. The discs may need the dust plate modified slightly with a hammer.
On that engine, stick to the 16v brakes.

No more Corsa :(

Thanks for the advice on the breaks.
As yet still a little unsure on an engine choice. The 16v sounds like a little more work than I\'d be after. Is an 8v any more straight forward?
