Been playing with his car the past few days, doing an engine conversion... anyway heres some pictures of it....
before we started...
was making 116bhp from the 1.4 16v
anyway that wasn\'t enough.... so that evening we drove to colchester to buy this...
then this happened....
see how strong i am...
ooooh errrr
new bottom end went in
on went the head with new head gasket and cam belt also new engine mounts as we removed the air con
little trick mod for the air feed
anyway today we flicked the key and broom broom it started! much to our amazement!
(pic off phone sorry about quality)
hope you enjoy the pics!
p.s. new engine is an x16xe (1.6 16v engine)

All the above comments are deemed an opinion, and in most cases

I would suggest looking in to getting a 120deg bend to take the inlet out under the battery and behind the passanger side light, as you\'ll get a reduced inlet length and believe it or not less bends, shoudl be able to do it with one bit of silicone hose and some shinner pipe.
It\'s the inlet setup all the GRP N cars run with I\'ve been told and they run abotu 140BHP on the std inlet this way.
Enjoy Rob
