Blacking out rear lights...
Would just like to know how difficult it is to tint original rear lights to pure black?!
I think they can be done by painting on layers of black paint and following that with a coat of clear lacquer paint. I also think you can paint on layers of red paint tint and that gives the same effect.
Has anyone tried either of these or heard of another way to do this?
Any help welcomed - many thanks!

so i\'ve got to sand them first with some wet and dry sandpaper so the paint has something to attach itself to?! As in the finish on lights aren\'t pure smooth?!

i agree with chapcorsa, tinting your own with that spray stuff will just look tacky and cheap, you\'d be best of buying some mhw smoked ones, about £130 a set, but well worth it.
