New Software Online!

Post by PaulW »

I\'m still working on this new software ALOT, and its not quite finished...

I have alot of things still yet to do, but basic functionality is now complete!

The board may keep going off/online at random intervals over the next few weeks while I tidy everything up!

Thanks

Paul

What STILL needs sorting...

*Album Quota system Re-Write (using MB instead of Picture Numbers) also allow you to view how much space you have left...

*Templating Fixes (there are a few errors still here & there, I will sort these as I go along)

*Quick Reply for Topics

*Finish enhanced support for Traders & Classifieds Sections (hopefully finished mid-January)

*Session Management fixes (some problems still arise with cookies, should be resolved soon!)

*Grouping System (have a BIG plan for this...)

plus some other things here & there... 8)

It\'s going to take a little bit of getting used to but I love the new look site Paul. Well worth the couple of days \'downtime\' to get it up and running. A job well done by you.

I agree with . - the new design is all nice and light and airy, but it\'s hard to read threads now.

The icons aren\'t recogniseable so it\'s not easy to see at a glance what\'s going on.

Speed seems up though so it\'s not all negative :)

Are there any skins already made that can be added to the site? Then we can at least go in and change it all in our profile.

Well......to be honest i loved the old layout, and thought it was one of the best/easiest to follow, so not a big fan of this :( Bring back the little blue/white corsa icons (newposts)

Corsa\'s are back, and I will be reviewing the coloring schema of the style at a later date...

I do have new topic icons to add soon, but not quite yet! I\'m still re-doing the header at the top so it blends in much better and also has an improved menu!

Keeping tab on unread threads is fixed

Now remembers what you have read & what you have not read, regardless if you open a new broswer window or not...

This feature relies on Cookies to be stored on your PC (automatic with most browsers/security settings)

Sorted issue with all topics having the \'Note\' message icon (I am still yet to replace these icons, they will be done at a later date)

Cleaned up the options at the top of the header, and also fixed the invalid link if a guest is viewing.

Fixed and finished the \'Not Logged In\' information box

Altered a few permissions here & there

Secured the user Profiles by making them viewable to registered members only.
