the valvers are no way near bullet proof i think you will find.

a 20xe engine is no way near that heavy over the front wheels. i wish people would stop commenting on such crap until they find out for them selves.

traction also isnt an issue, i mean the spin in 1st and a bit in 2nd, but you would hope 150bhp fwd would do that. still hit 60 in under 7 seconds.

the x16 has to have a hell of a lot of money thrown at it and will never ever produce the tourque of the xe.

a 20xe corsa is quick, but it isnt fast

My 2.0 XE Corsa is nearly finished...well only just started this weekend but will be pretty much there this weekend...

I had a 2.2 VTEC Honda Prelude....am i going to be blown away compared to that?

The Prelude is capable of low 15\'s on the 1/4 mile btw

Has anyone got any definate figures for a 20xe in a corsa? i\'m talking about 0-60, top speed .e.t.c.

No, because everyone\'s car is different - some stripped, some with an install, different wheels, etc.

Anyway, a car is more than it\'s power figures!

14.6 with full road trim, full leather, roll cage, 2 people in the car and loads of toold on a std engine with no mods at all.

you get some good xe\'s and some crap ones.

i just got mine runnin properly on thursday and i have been in loads of fast cars but still think it is quick got the 2.0 16v xe engine in.
One mate has an evo and thats very qwick another has got a dodge viper 8.3litre V10 thats stupid even the guy who owns tht thinks the corsa is qwick only think is gettin the power onto the road
