if i was to remove them totally would it affect the stiffness of the car?
as ill have a full roll cage so if i do crash itll only be on track and i doubt itll stop me doing serious damage as if i come off ill do it in a big way

all they do is just protect you from impacts, so if you hit something, you have more risk of buckling the boot floor or crushing the radiator/engine at the front...

I\'ve considered removing mine in the past - surely even low speed impacts in a Corsa would pretty much write the car off?
No more Corsa :(

Weights too much, pull it off
Nova ones are gone now. Use some stydding to go stealth to hold the bumper up for bonnet pins for qwik access.
I\'ve gone for Dzas clips on the side and Studding on the front, but I think alloy bonnet pins will be lighter to will be doing that when I can be arsed.
As for saving the car, on track I don\'t think you would be worried abotu the firnt or back , normally corners and sides that get mashed up. Will save a good amount they weigh a ton.
