Engine sizes

Post by Corsa_sxi »

Hi all got a question for anyone who might know the answer

Basicly was chatting to a friend today and he has a 1.1 peugeot 106 8 valve.
Now i own a 1.2 16 valve veuxhal corsa b baring in mind his car is lighter than mine hae recons that his 1.1 will piss all over my 1.2.

Is this correct or just ballshit cause i belive that the 1.2 16 v has 5 more BHP than a 1.4 8v engine found out on internet.

If someone can reasure more that would be great but i retain he has no chance but lets see what you guys think.

it depends really as some people are good drivers and others are not. random things like gear changes being made at the correct time etc.

to be honest, everywhere you go someone will have a car faster than whatever anyone else has, so its part of life. ignore your mate who says his car is faster, it really really doesnt matter too much does it?

Agree with muppetsport on this one, just nod when your mate says his is faster and don\'t lose any sleep over it. From the sounds of it, he\'ll be so happy he\'ll go off and knock one off over the thought.
No more Corsa :(
