I remember doing something similiar to the head on my old 1.4 8v, although not quite as bad as that!

I\'m sure though some X16XE engines came out the factory a little \'enhanced\' to others...

Inlet will be 70mm on the 2.0.

I\'ve got a Viper on my 20XE also. Before i had a Green air filter as part of the M-Tec kit.

The Green filter didn\'t like to work when the engine was cold, big flat spots but revved very well when moving.

With my Viper, the flat spots when cold have gone (only with the air feed attached) and it feels very smooth but looses power above 6000rpm and is really noticable.

Its not a bad induction kit, but not worth £250. I only paid £70 for mine so respectable, but certainly not worth the asking RRP.

i\'m thinking of a heatshielding around the section where the airfilter is, and making an air intake on both sides of the front light, for now the K&N will be fine.. maybe a viper or green storm.. but for the mom.. this is good...

If your making a heatshield to enclose the filter, i would just use the K+N you have at the moment.

that\'s exactly my idea :)

the donorcar is currently being stripped from parts others might be interested in.. for starts.. the gsi bumper has gone today, after the conversion doors etc. will also be sold hehe.. lots of corsa\'s in holland looking for parts so i\'m spending more time on that then on the engine conversion :P

i\'m playing a bit with colors for the cambelt, and sparkplugcover.. cant decide between red, black, or combination..
