When at first I started to rebuild the 16xe i thought it would al be okay after getting the head fixed..

however the lump also seemed to be damaged at a later stadium..

so.. here are some pictures of whats been going on since i noticed it..

my christmass present:

Recently rebuilt c20xe
82 degr thermostat
allready in a corsa! so includes all needed parts!
std engine and ecu ecept for the mtech sfi-replacement and K&N filter
including exhaustsystem etc...

because i\'ve never done it before.. it did take me alot of time to get the engine out without breaking stuff :lol:

but after a few days of cursing it was ready to get welded:

Copied the M-Tech chassis strenght kit :lol:

Going to paint the entire engine bay again so dont mind the brown goo :lol:

rented a box for the rest of the work.. I think the engine will go in this upcomming weekend :thumbs:

lookin good work though! how would you compare any handling differences between the small & large blocks??

in comparission to the mantzelled 16xe the handling has improved..

However, I do know that a fully tuned 16xe with TB\'s would handle better. This because of the lower weight upfront, and better lower-revs performance then a mantzelled 16xe

yes however this type of paint isn\'t long lasting :(

for some odd reason this morning it had completely disapeared :(
